Brian Brijbag, based in Tampa, Florida, is a medical anthropologist, as well as a healthcare compliance expert and lawyer. After working in the healthcare industry for years, when Brian began working on his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Anthropology, he realized that his two interests could connect in a meaningful way. From there, he began studying public health. He became fascinated with health disparities and environmental racism. Brian went on to earn a dual Master’s in Applied Anthropology and Public Health and has since become an expert in healthcare compliance. Most recently, he pursued another degree, a Juris Doctorate, which he earned in 2019. Brian Brijbag hopes to use the intersections of all his interests, expertise, and passion to help people better understand the healthcare system and receive the care they need.
